National Probation Service members urged to ensure they don’t lose out

Members working for the National Probation Service are being urged to make sure that they don’t lose their UNISON membership due to payment changes

Members working for the National Probation Service (NPS) are being urged to make sure that they don’t lose the advantages of UNISON membership due to payment changes.

After a decision made by the coalition government, staff working for the NPS will no longer be able to pay their UNISON subscription direct from their salary from the end of September.

More than ever, in these uncertain times, NPS members cannot afford to lose the protection that membership brings.

But if you work for NPS and currently pay your subs direct from your salary, you can make a switch to direct debit really quickly and easily by visiting unison.org.uk/switchnow or calling your union free on 0800 0857 857.

This only applies to members working in the NPS. Members working for the CRCs can continue to pay their UNISON subs direct from your salaries and do not need to make the switch to direct debit.
