A staggering number of UNISON’s election 2015 ‘pledge to vote for public services’ cards have been ordered from the online catalogue.
And now it is time to get them filled in and returned to Jon Besserman at UNISON Centre, 130 Euston Road, London NW1 2AY.
The cards were designed with a dual purpose:
- to serve as a conversation opener when you are out and about talking about the importance of public services as an election issue;
- to gather email addresses of those who are interested, so we can contact them on the issues that we believe will make the difference in the election.
Job security, the cost of living and the NHS are what UNISON members have told us matter most to them – so that’s what we’re campaigning on, particularly in marginal constituencies.
And you will find three leaflets on these subjects on the catalogue too.
So gather up those completed pledge cards and get them back to UNISON Centre as soon as possible.
And if your branch hasn’t yet ordered them for your election events, there’s still time if you get your skates on (stock number 3510).
