Recruitment ads run again in April

UNISON’s TV advertising returns in April after a short break.

The recruitment ads are timed to make the most of the pre-election build-up when many of our regions and branches will be planning activity and UNISON will visible in the workplace and on the media.

This time around we’ll be testing out a new type of ad – local radio ads. The pilot will run in the North West and Northern regions, using Heart North West and Heart North East.

We’ll also have some ads on Key 103 (Greater Manchester); Radio City (Liverpool), Rock FM (Lancashire); Metro Radio (Newcastle) and TFM (Middlesbrough).

The ads will run in the breakfast and “drivetime” peak slots.

The radio ads will run for four weeks, starting on 7 April.

Television advertising will start on 1 April for four weeks, featuring a nationwide mix of satellite and digital channels, and Channel 5, ITV Northern and ITV Scotland.

UNISON will run adverts in the Metro newspapers nationwide on 13, 20 and 27 April and online advertising and Google ads  will run throughout this period.
