Pay consultation: have your say

There is just one week to go in the English health consultative ballot on the government’s pay proposals.

Members should have all received their ballot papers – we need branches and activists to do all they can in this final week to maximise the turn out.

Members have until 10am on 2 March 2015 to cast their vote

If members have not received a ballot paper they should ring 0800 0 857 857 to request a duplicate.

The resources section contains a steward briefing and FAQs to help members understand how the offer affects them.

UNISON believes that this is the best offer that will be achieved through a negotiation and without the need to continue our programme of industrial action.

If the majority of UNISON members are not in favour of accepting it then health members will be asked to take further industrial action starting with a strike on Friday 13 March.

In Northern Ireland, the industrial action ballot in health, social care and education closes on 24 February. If members vote yes to action, the first strike will take place on 13 March.
