With a lot of news coverage of the Ebola crisis in West Africa, members might be worried about the threat to people in the UK.
However, the risk of infection remains low, both for members working in the health service and the wider public.

UNISON is contributing to a global trade union project in West Africa, which aims:
- to support trade union campaigns to improve the working conditions of health and related workers in the affected countries in West Africa;
- to promote the role of unions as part of planning to contain Ebola;
