Staff at learning support charity Dimensions – which operates in England and Wales – have been paid an additional non-consolidated sum in their April pay packet as part of this year’s pay award.
After negotiations led by UNISON, Dimensions agreed to share a £1 million surplus pot with staff.
Permanent staff were paid as follows:
- those working 30 hours or more received £275;
- those working 22-30 hours received 75% of that;
- those working 15-22 hours received 50%;
- those working up to 15 hours received 25%.
Relief staff were paid as follows:
- those working 30 hours or more received £275;
- those working 20-29 hours received 50%;
- those working 5-19 hours received 25%.
Payments were subject to the usual deductions and any staff – permanent or relief – with less than six months service did not qualify for the payment.
UNISON will be contacting members in the autumn to formulate the 2014/15 pay claim.
