UNISON members in the Eastern region have won a total of £190,624 in compensation for personal injury claims lodged by the union.
This is just for January 2014.
In December 2013 the figure was, £51,175 and for November 2013 it was a whopping £1,420,501 – which included one member whose settlement was £1.2m due to the very severe nature of his injuries.
For 2013, the total figure for all UNISON claims was £2,758,229.64
