UNISON retired members will be marking National Dignity Day tomorrow, alongside the National Pensioners Convention.
Activities are being held all over the country.
UNISON retired members and other older people will be involved in local community choirs, public meetings, leafleting and demonstrations outside hospitals and care homes where dignity is a concern.
National Dignity Day aims to draw attention to the need to improve the quality of care that people receive, and tackle the poor training and pay offered to many care workers.
