Derby city teaching and classroom assistants will receive hand-delivered hampers on 29 November, to show how much UNISON appreciates their hard work.
As part of the nationwide day to celebrate teaching assistants, hampers containing biscuits, workplace posters and UNISON mugs will be delivered by organisers to the school staff rooms.
“Hopefully when drinking coffee out of a UNISON mug, nibbling a biscuit and seeing the latest bulletins, non-members will also be encouraged to join by the contacts in each school,” said UNISON area organiser Adrian Morgan.
