UNISON general secretary Dave Prentis today sent solidarity greetings and a message of support to teachers striking over pay, pensions and workloads.
“Frontline public service workers never take the decision to strike lightly,” he said.
“Decent quality public services are the cornerstone of our society, and yet again and again they are under attack. The workers who provide them are feeling the pressure.
“UNISON sends its support to our fellow public service workers in their campaign for fair treatment.”
