UNISON is preparing to start pay talks with British Gas and wants to hear from you.
To make sure our pay claim fully represents members’ concerns, the union is consulting members in September, using an online survey.
Pay is a key issue for all our members and we are asking members who work for British Gas to answer a few questions using SurveyMonkey, which will help the union formulate the pay claim and negotiate with British Gas.
“Please help us to help you,” says National officer Matthew Lay. “Complete the survey.
“British Gas and its parent company Centrica are very successful. We know this is thanks to the hard work of our members, who day-in and day-out provide a first rate service to customers.
“We believe this work should be effectively and fairly rewarded.”
UNISON is also urging members to make sure their local rep or branch has their latest contact details.
“It is always helpful to have non-work contact numbers/email addresses so we can contact you outside of work if required,” says Mr Lay.
