UNISON launches chief officers survey

UNISON has launched a major online survey of chief officers and senior managers working in local government.

Since our last survey in 2010, the landscape of local government has changed dramatically, and we are keen to hear the views of chief officers and senior managers on what’s happening in local authorities – on service delivery, local government finance, employment issues, and the future of local government.

The survey will play an important role in ensuring that our activities representing and campaigning on behalf of chief officers and senior managers are geared towards the priorities of the people doing the work, and it should also provide us with helpful material for our campaigns against cuts and privatisation.

This survey is to be completed by local government workers in chief officer and senior manager roles – whether they are members or non-members, on JNC, NJC or local terms and conditions. The survey ends on 13 September 2013.
