Healthworkers wishing the NHS a happy 65th birthday at Bognor War Memorial Hospital
With just two days to go until the NHS 65th birthday on 5 July, celebrations have already begun.
Members, activists, healthcare workers and members of the public got together at Bognore War Memorial Hospital today to wish the NHS a happy birthday.
And at Sussex Community Health cupcakes and birthday cakes were on hand to celebrate and promote public services, and especially the NHS.
UNISON’s South East regional secretary Phil Wood said “UNISON members across the region have been getting out there to wish our NHS a happy 65th birthday. With this level of support the government are going to have a fight on their hands if they try and do away with this great institution.”
