A flash mob took over the UNISON conference in Liverpool this morning, as chair of standing orders committee Clytus Williams asked delegates to turn to page 3 of their reports.
To the tune of YMCA, a song was belted out that “we want no more page 3” and a chorus line of UNISON members and staff, suitably t-shirted and attired, led delegates in a singalong in making sure everyone got the message.
The union is backing the campaign to get rid of page 3 in the Sun, and asked all delegates to sign a petition and use social media to promote it.
