Unions ratchet up fight against health service pay cartel

The campaign against the south west pay cartel is being ratcheted up this week, with lobbies, rallies and demonstrations, ahead of a protest march in Bristol on 1 December.

The first demonstration is tomorrow, 27 November, outside the main entrance to Barnstaple Hospital, where the North Devon Healthcare Trust is meeting.

It will take place from 7-10am, and will include the handing in of a petition of staff and members of the public to the board members.

On Wednesday 28 November, a lobby will take place between 7-10am at the CWH Entrance, Barrack Road, Exeter.

There will also be a lobby of the Dorset Health Care University Trust on Wednesday morning, from 8.45am, gathering outside Weymouth Fire Station.

And there will also be a joint union lobby of the Devon Partnership Trust Board meeting on Thursday 29 November, between 8-10am.

You can gather at the Wonford House entrance on Dryden Road in Exeter.
