Two exciting Friday evening arts events will take place Worcestershire as part of the Save the Kidderminster Library Gallery campaign.
As part of the continuing campaign to save the only publicly funded arts space in Wyre Forest, UNISON and the Friends are staging of live art performances at subsidy prices at 7pm on 23 and 30 November.
The two events could be the last live arts in the Kidderminster Library Gallery.
They are:
- an Arts Jamboree on Friday 23 November featuring many local artists and musicians including international and trade union folk songsmiths Bleeding Hearts (who have played with the likes of the Levellers, Oysterband, Chumbawamba) playing a very rare acoustic set;
- a specially commissioned ‘fighting the cuts’ play by the award-winning Birmingham community theatre group Banner Theater on 30 November, sponsored by UNISON.
Both events are pay at the door.
Everyone is invited to come along experience these wonderful events and help save Kidderminster Library Gallery.
