UNISON will be highlighting the campaign, celebrating the difference that a Living Wage can make and campaigning for fair pay for all our members.
The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently every year. It is calculated according to the cost of living and gives the minimum pay rate required for a worker to provide themselves with the essentials of life.
We are already seeing the benefits of union and joint community campaigning in winning gains for some of our lowest paid members.
Campaign website
Our Living Wage website takes you through the stages for running a successful campaign and has loads of useful downloadable resources that you can adapt to your workplace campaigning.
Initially focused on education campaigns it will be broadening out and updated in the coming weeks, so add it to your ‘favourites’ for easy access.
