UNISON’s Somerset County branch is organising a conference this Friday as part of its ongoing fight against privatisation in the county.
The council’s latest proposal is to outsource learning disability services – although it has admitted that this won’t save any money.
The County Plan conference will provide an opportunity to ask the same question – and may more.
It will provide those affected – and the residents of Somerset – the chance to put their questions forward and support the campaign to stop privatisation of services.
