UNISON member and health visitor Mini Joti was awarded an OBE in the New Year’s honours at the weekend.
Ms Joti, who is based at Bridgeton Health Centre, was honoured for serving the NHS and the community in the East End of Glasgow.
She has already been recognised by the United Nations for ground-breaking work supporting breast feeding.
