(04/11/11) As UNISON members voted resoundingly for action to defend their pensions yesterday, the union’s Sheffield City branch marked the end of the ballot by staging a ‘mock picket’ outside Sheffield City Hall.
Members gathered to make it clear that they are prepared to take action and that everyone deserves a fair pension and some dignity in their retirement – so they don’t have to go cap in hand for state benefits.
