Public sector workers will form picket lines at every employer balloted in the pensions dispute across Wales on 30 November.
The largest rally in the country will take place in Cardiff, where the TUC-organised event will see more than 1,000 people march from City Hall in the city centre to Sophia Garden.
There will be a rally of union speakers at Sophia Garden, including regional secretary Paul O’Shea alongside union members talking about how the pensions changes may affect them.
Wrexham and Swansea will also see hundreds of union members joining the rallies there.
Smaller rallies will take place across Wales in most local authorities, “because we want to make sure that everybody feels that they could get involved somehow,” says UNISON Cymru / Wales information development officer Amber Courtney.
Unions have been working closely together to make sure that there is a real sense of solidarity on the day, she says.
“Everybody’s really positive about the day. We’re looking at ways to keep the momentum going and keep things building.”
