UNISON General Secretary, Dave Prentis, will today (2 November) warn that the third sector is facing an impossible double whammy of increased demand and plummeting revenue. The union says that services and jobs are set to disappear, leaving vulnerable local people to pay the price.
The union is holding its first Community conference for members working in third sector organisations in Telford today, with over than 100 delegates from across the UK.
