UNISON is warning that plans to cut back on inspections of hospitals, care homes and home care could fuel failings in keeping vulnerable people safe.
Routine reviews – a paper exercise based on how providers assess themselves – could be cut from yearly, to once every two years.
The union also fears that many providers will only have on-site inspections every three years, with the inspector
