UNISON General Secretary, Dave Prentis, brokered top level talks, between
the entire health ministerial team, led by Health Secretary Andy Burnham,
and NHS Together unions, to derail plans to privatise parts of the NHS.
Dave Prentis had warned the Government that plans to introduce more
privatisation would undermine the NHS and fuel a crisis of confidence.
