YOUNG WORKERS PROTEST AGAINST PAY OFFER

Manchester workers called for pounds not pennies this Saturday (9 May) after rejecting the extra 3p an hour offered by local government employers.

The young UNISON members held up giant 3p coins as they slammed the 0.5 per cent pay offer that has been rejected by the union.

And they are urging employers to give them a fair deal to help them battle through the economic crisis.
