Privatisation, PFI and Independent Treatment Centres are the prime culprits behind NHS deficits said UNISON, the UK’s largest health union today.
The Department of Health should reconsider the length of time permitted for trusts to clear their deficits, to allow more time for trusts to come to terms with the constant barrage of government reforms.
