Commenting on the introduction of the Hillsborough Law bill to parliament today (Monday), UNISON general secretary Christina McAnea said:
“Friends and family of the Hillsborough victims were denied justice for far too long.
“UNISON has stood with those who lost their loved ones from the outset of their campaign to be heard, believed and for the truth to be uncovered.
“This bill should ensure no one is failed in such a monstrous way ever again and authorities are always held to account. There must be no more cover-ups.”
