Add new Rule:
“.6Health and Safety Representatives
6.1 One or more health and safety representatives shall be elected annually for each work group or workplace by the members in that group or workplace in accordance with branch arrangements
6.2 The election of each health and safety representative shall be reported to the branch for ratification and issuing of credentials.
6.3 Health and safety representatives shall:
6.3.1carry out the function of a safety representative as laid down by the Safety Representatives and Safety Committee Regulations
6.3.2be accountable within branch arrangements to the members they represent and the branch committee
6.3.3carry out their duties in accordance with UNISON’s Rules, the Code of Good Branch Practice and the UNISON Health and Safety Representatives Guide”
