Tell us about your Earnings Max successes by emailing s.bandesha@unison.co..uk.
We know that branches work extremely hard, day in day out to fight to increase members’ earnings. It’s second nature to you and a big part of what we do as a trade union. That’s why we want to hear about the victories that you are having on the ground so that we can celebrate and share successes across the wider union.
We have developed a range of useful resources, including postcards, templates and guides to help branches to build campaigns aimed at ensuring that our members are getting what they are entitled to. This includes holiday pay, allowances and ensuring that they are on the right band for the job.
So, if you’ve been successful in your claims for job re-evaluation or have any other victories relating to Earnings Max projects (this includes anything you’ve done to increase your members’ take home pay), then we want you to hear from you so please write in to us by contacting s.bandesha@unison.co.uk.
Don’t forget to publicise your wins as far and wide as possible, especially in communications to members. Branch newsletters are a great way to let your members know just how hard you work on their behalf. We want you to shout about the great work you do!
Order the “Let’s put it right together” postcards (stock no 3843) which are available on the online catalogue. These give you a great excuse to get out there and talk to members about issues that really matter to them.
The Organising Space has been created with you in mind and is a useful online platform where you can access lots of useful Earnings Max (as well as other) resources. Please use the space to upload any campaign resources you’ve developed in your branches that you think might be useful for other branches.
