29 April 2025
London (UNISON Centre)
The 2025 UNISON WET Service Group Health & Safety Seminar will take place on Tuesday 29 April, at UNISON Centre in London.
This event is open to all members in branches across the Water, Environment and Transport Service Group.
The seminar will be structured around informative presentations, practical workshops, ideas sharing exercises and other activities intended to help equip reps and activists with the tools and knowledge needed to better support members in the area of health and safety and improve this aspect of their workplaces.
The specific issues and areas covered across the workshops will reflect the major issues affecting currently WET workplaces, and will include: tackling abuse and threats in the workplace, taking measures against stress, and taking action and organising around extreme weather and dangerous temperatures.

How to register and costs
Seminar attendance is open to all WET Service Group members – to book a place, members should contact your branch to express your interest in attending. Branches will then need to register delegates on the OCS system under the ‘2025 WET Health and Safety Seminar’ event.
The costs to branches are a registration fee of £40 per delegate, plus the costs of travel and any accommodation required, which must be arranged separately by branches or delegates (see below for more information).
Registration fees will be automatically debited from branches following the event.
The (now extended) deadline for delegate registrations is Wednesday 23rd April, at 5pm.
