The Covid-19 crisis has shown just how important our public services are and how much this government is failing them. They acted far too late, costing the lives of thousands while billions of pounds of public money has was given to companies, many with links to government ministers. Our underfunded NHS has been at breaking point, only surviving due to the incredible commitment of dedicated staff.
But a crisis has been growing in our public services for a decade. The crisis of underfunding and privatisation, under successive Tory governments.
That’s why we need to show the government that we are #UnitedForPublicServices. We are going to send them a message loud and clear at their party conference in Manchester on October 3rd. Join us!
