UNISON international seminar

31 March – 2 April 2017

Croyde Bay, North Devon

Please note that the outline/timetable for the 2017 UNISON international seminar (which may be changed slightly before the event itself) is now available to download from the ‘resources’ links at the bottom of this page.

UNISON’s annual international seminar event for branch international relations officers (BIROs) to discuss implementing UNISON international policies as well as training.

The international seminar is a great opportunity to discuss implementing UNISON international policies in your branch or region and to network with other international officers and those interested in international work.

The draft programme for the 2017 seminar seeks to look at supply chain exploitation, Colombia, Palestine, Qatar, Turkey and Swaziland, as well as training and advice on the activities and the role of the BIRO (the programme is subject to confirmation).

We will be holding a film screening in the hotel as the Saturday evening entertainment for the seminar.

Registration is open to UNISON branch international officers and regional delegates. We are also encouraging women, young and Black members to ask their branch to nominate them.

Registration forms will be sent to all BIROs and branches in January, and will also be available on the website.

Please note this is a member only event.

Please contact Luke Ruby at l.Ruby@unison.co.uk for more information.
