Steward refresher (recertification)

ERA recertification course.

Details

The course will:

  • update reps on new legislation relevant to their role, particularly the updated grievance and disciplinary procedures and the public sector equality duties;
  • introduce new developments in UNISON, including Meeting the Organising Challenge;
  • develop new skills and ideas including preparing for cases and encouraging and supporting new activists.

 

How the course will work

The course is designed to meet the requirements of the Employment Relations Act (ERA) recertification. 

It involves group work and discussion. It is also a good opportunity to network and share ideas and experiences.
