| UNISON will be hosting a one day seminar for Branches with Private Contractor members held at UNISON Centre.
The seminar will aim to showcase best practice from regions / branches in relation to recruitment, organising and bargaining and identify wider issues. All branches with private contractor members are being asked to send one person that currently supports members working in the private sector, so a senior branch officer or branch employed staff, to this event. The intention is for delegates to feed in their experiences and ideas and to report back to their branches and regions about the support that is available from the centre. We also hope that examples from different regions and branches can inspire branches to review how they support private contractor members and identify new activists. The event will begin with refreshments and networking from 10:00am and the seminar will start promptly at 11.00 am – and end at 3.00 pm, for Branches with Private Contractor members held at UNISON Centre. Delegates will need to register for the event. Online Booking will close at 5pm on Thursday 20 April 2023. The deadline for registration for childcare is Tuesday 18 April at 5pm. We will not be able to accommodate requests for childcare made after this date. Requests for reasonable adjustments and any dietary requirements must be made via OCS.
