Cut crime – not PCSOs

2 December 2017 11:00pm

North Norwich - meet at Christ Church Centre, Magdalen Road, Norwich NR3 4LA

Norfolk Constabulary is planning to axe all 150 police community support officers (PCSOs) in the county to save money.

UNISON believes that these plans must be stopped and is organising a day of action in Norwich on Saturday 2 December.

The aim is to send a strong message to Norwich North Conservative MP and assistant government whip Chloe Smith that the priority of her government should be cutting crime, not cutting PCSOs who play a vital role in keeping our communities safe.

Join us on 2 December

We are asking UNISON members from across the country to come to Norwich on Saturday 2 December to help deliver leaflets to every home in the Norwich North constituency.

If you can come along, please go to:

Christ Church Centre, Magdalen Road, Norwich NR3 4LA

UNISON regional staff will be there from 11am with leaflets and delivery details. Contact us  on 01284 772 564, nsteam@unison.co.uk or @UNSIONEastern to find out more about the campaign day, or to let the know you are coming.
