Internationally educated nurses and health and care staff are a vital part of our workforce, yet recent immigration changes are creating uncertainty and real impact on both work and personal lives.
To mark International Nurses Day, UNISON is hosting this national webinar to raise awareness, share key information, and highlight where support is available.
This session is for internationally educated staff across health and social care, as well as allies and representatives supporting them. We’ll cover what these changes mean in practice and how UNISON, nationally and through local branches, can help.
The session will be chaired and presented by Louie Horne, UNISON’s National Nursing Officer, and will include a Q&A with:
Narmada Thiranagama, Policy Officer (Policy and Public Affairs)
Bronwyn Jacobs, National Strategic Organiser (Strategic Organising Unit)
Join us to understand more, ask questions, and be part of the collective voice shaping what happens next.
