This annual event is a great opportunity to find out about the latest developments in FE and sixth form colleges, share experiences and meet colleagues from around the country. You’ll hear from experts and get the chance to put your questions and share your views.
The seminar will comprise a mixture of keynote speakers and workshops – all relating to working in a college. There will be a focus on supporting good mental health at work, behaviour management, dealing with post-merger issues such as restructures, redundancies and job evaluation. Key politicians, the FE commissioner, NUS and AoC have all been invited to address the seminar. A full programme will be available in January 2018.

Branches are expected to pay the cost for delegates attending this seminar and are asked to ensure that their colleges are represented at this important annual event. The cost for the seminar to be paid by branches to UNISON is as follows:-
Full delegate rate is £320.00
This includes bed and breakfast, dinner, two lunches and all refreshments, venue and event costs. Bookings will take place via OCS (details below), payment will be taken directly from branch accounts after the seminar. All other travel and subsistence costs should be met by the branch.
All delegates need to be registered by 19 March 2018.
