This face to face workshop is for newly appointed LGBT+ Officers across all sectors.
This session will focus on defining the role of a LGBT+ branch officer or contact
By the end of this session, participants will:
- Have a better understanding of the skills, knowledge and experience of the role of LGBT+ Officer
- Understand and put into practice how and where to access information and contacts
- Identify how to organise and campaign for equality and get equality issues on the bargaining agenda.
- Know how to access resources, make useful links and develop strategies for supporting LGBT+ members
The session will be held at UNISON centre in London on 30th April from 10 to 4pm.
Spaces will be allocated on first come, first served, basis.
This course includes a charge to your branch of £225.00 if you meet the course criteria we will contact your branch to confirm their approval to be charged the course fee.
