8 March 2020
The union of a million women is leading the way: on sexual harassment, on social care, on the menopause, on gender pay gaps.
Sexual harassment
Sexual harassment isn’t just problem for celebrities. It’s happening in ordinary workplaces everywhere, and we’re calling it out.
Social care
Care workers, a mostly female workforce, are not treated fairly. Care is in crisis, thanks to a system that has been underfunded and ignored by governments for years. We’re campaigning for decent jobs, quality services and fair funding.
Menopause
The menopause is an issue for everyone who cares about fairness in the workplace, not only those who experience it directly. We’re fighting for meaningful support at work.
Gender pay gap
On average, men earn 18% more than women. We’re at the forefront of the campaign to eradicate this inequality.
Climate change
Climate justice and gender justice go hand in hand. The climate crisis threatens us all, but is devastating for the world’s poor – the majority of whom are women. We’re supporting the #March4Women in London on Sunday 8 March.
