Green UNISON Week (19 – 26 September 2025) is our annual opportunity to shine a spotlight on the climate and environmental issues that affect all of us at work, in our communities, and in our daily lives. The climate crisis isn’t a distant challenge – it’s here, and it impacts the services we deliver, the conditions we work in, and the future we want for our families.
Green UNISON Week is your chance to get involved, encourage others to engage and highlight green issues in your workplace, get people involved in fun and meaningful activities, and celebrate all the amazing things you’re already doing to support the environment – not just at work, but in everyday life too.
It’s also a chance for your Branch to look at how they plan to engage with next year’s Year of Green Activity – find out more about the year here.
Look out for an all-member Survey on UNISON and Climate Change on 23rd – it just takes 5 minutes and will help inform our climate activity over the coming year.
