Ever wonder what The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) fitness to practice proceedings mean and involve? Join us for a joint webinar along with the NMC, UNISON, RCM, RCN & Unite.
We know that many of you have questions about the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) fitness to practise process.
This is a great opportunity to better understand the process, find out what help and support you can receive as a UNISON or trade union member.
This event can count towards your evidence of continuous professional development. 50% of registrants in regulatory proceedings are unrepresented and they receive worse outcomes than those who are represented. So join us have your say – challenge us ask any question!
Who should attend:
Every nurse, midwife or nursing associate will gain from joining this session. Students are also very welcome.

We know that if you are referred to the NMC, you may be worried, frightened and concerned. This session is designed to give you clear, practical information about what the fitness to practise process involves, how it works in practice, and the support available to you from the NMC care line and the unions.
