Drop-in Black History event at the House of Parliament

Room Q, Portcullis House, Houses of Parliament

Every October, UNISON mark Black History Month to celebrate and honour the contribution of Black Britons across the UK and throughout history and to reflect on why we must keep fighting for equality. On 22 October this year, UNISON will be hosting a parliamentary drop-in with Paulette Hamilton, MP for Birmingham Erdington, to reflect on the importance of Black History.

The drop-in will provide an opportunity for UNISON members to engage with parliamentarians about the importance of Black History Month and to discuss how they can work with UNISON to improve equality in the workplace and in wider society.

Date: Tuesday 22nd October

Time: 11.30am – 12.30pm

Venue: Room Q, Portcullis House, Houses of Parliament
