Disabled LGBT+ members Network Meeting

11 July 2025 2:00pm–4:30pm

UNISON West Midlands region, 24 Livery Street, Birmingham, B3 2PA and on Teams

Do you want to be more involved with UNISON’s work on disabled LGBT+ equality in the workplace, or just meet other disabled LGBT+ UNISON members, this is the meeting for you!

Further information:

Our meeting is hybrid, taking place at the UNISON West Midlands office in Birmingham and online using teams.  It is also a fantastic opportunity to meet other disabled LGBT+ members and hear from your reps on UNISON’s national LGBT+ committee about the work that they have been doing over the last year.

Following discussions during the meeting, we will agree our motions to the 2025 LGBT+ conference.

We are also looking for nominations for the reserved disabled LGBT+ members seat on UNISON’s delegation to the 2026 TUC LGBT+ conference (dates to be confirmed).

Two reserved disabled LGBT+ members seats on UNISON’s 2026 LGBT+ conference standing orders committee (one reserved for a woman)

Three of the reserved seats (one reserved woman’s seat and two general seats) for disabled LGBT+ members on UNISON’s national LGBT+ committee are also up for election, for a two year term of office.

Registration

Any UNISON disabled LGBT+ member wishing to attend must register in advance, registration forms are available from out@unison.co.uk or you can register online
