#BursaryorBust march to save NHS bursaries

4 June 2016 3:00pm

St Thomas's Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London, United Kingdom

A march has been organised for 4 June  by the Bursary or Bust campaign against the scrapping of the NHS bursary in England.

There has been lots of campaign activity, including the launch of an economic report and a lobby of Parliament.

However, it’s important that we continue to keep up the pressure on the government. That’s why UNISON is supporting the Bursary or Bust campaign’s march to save NHS bursaries on 4 June 2016.

Speakers include UNISON assistant general secretary Roger McKenzie, Vivienne Westwood, Dr Aislinn Mcklin-Dougherty, Dr Mona Kamal, Helen Corry and Ann Corry. There will also be a performance from the NHS Choir.

The march will start at St Thomas’ Hospital in London at 1pm. More information on can be found on this event’s facebook page.
