Thank you for fantastic response and interest in attending the seminar. Registration for the seminar is now closed and we’ve reached full capacity. We’ve also started a waiting list for members we weren’t able to accommodate.

If you currently have a confirmed place at the seminar, but your circumstances change and you are no longer able to attend, please let us know at the earliest opportunity so we can offer the place to someone on the waiting list.

Please note that unfortunately, because space is limited, we will not able to admit anyone who has not registered and had their place confirmed.

The UNISON National Health and Safety Committee has agreed the date, venue, and theme for the 2026 biennial UNISON National Health and Safety Seminar.

This year’s seminar focuses on empowering health and safety representatives to become confident leaders in their workplaces and within UNISON. Health and safety is at the heart of protecting workers and through this seminar, we aim to give new and existing reps the tools, knowledge, and confidence to influence positive change and lead on health and safety issues.

If you are a health and safety representative, or currently enrolled in Health and Safety representative training, and are keen to become more involved in UNISON’s work around these crucial issues and meet other reps just like you, please consider registering for this seminar.

Registration and Enquiries

The registrations will open on 14 December 2025 and will be processed through Online Conferencing System (OCS).

The deadline for registrations is 15 February 2026. Branches may send one delegate per branch, and spaces are limited.

If you wish to attend the seminar, please contact your branch, who can register your interest via the Online Conferencing System (OCS).

Please note: registration does not guarantee a place. Attendance will be confirmed by the Health and Safety team to ensure equity in regional representation. We are committed to championing diversity and removing barriers for those who may otherwise face challenges in becoming active or taking on leadership roles. We particularly encourage women and members from across our equalities groups to attend, ensuring throughout our commitment to fair representation and proportionality.

By registering a delegate, the branch agrees to cover the attendance cost of £168. This fee includes all materials, refreshments, and lunch during the seminar.

Delegates should notify us via OCS of any reasonable adjustments, dietary requirements, or additional support needed as early as possible, and no later than 1 April 2026.

Accommodation and travel Arrangements

All accommodation and transport costs are the responsibility of the branch and must be arranged separately.

Branches are asked to book all travel arrangements for the seminar through Stewart Corporate Travel by emailing unison@stewarttravelmanagement.com or telephone: 0800 091 4272

We highly recommend booking fully refundable travel and accommodation in case of any unforeseen changes to the event.
