Thinking of cancelling your UNISON membership?
Cancelling your UNISON membership means saying goodbye to vital protection at work and the range of benefits UNISON offers.
Here are six reasons why we’d like you to stay with us:
- You never know when you might face a problem at work, but being part of a union means if you do encounter problems, you’re never facing them alone.
- You get free access to a legal helpline and a free will writing service.
- Membership gives you exclusive access to deals on travel insurance, holidays, new cars and more.
- We negotiate pay and conditions in your workplace. The more members we have, the stronger our position is, and that means we can get a better deal for you.
- Your membership contribution helps us fight for better working conditions for all: we recently took the government to court and won over unfair tribunal fees and we couldn’t have done this without you.
- Retiring? We offer lifetime retired membership with all the same benefits for a one-off fee of £15.
If you do cancel, you can always rejoin, but please note that if you encounter an issue at work, you will have to wait four weeks after rejoining before you can get help from UNISON.
Still thinking of cancelling? We’re sorry to see you go.
