UNISON is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individual to support our region develop a strong and sustainable network of branch officers and representatives as well as establish an excellent casework and representation system.
The successful candidate will bring their experience and skills to the role and be able to develop and deliver recruitment and organising initiatives and campaigns in the region.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent presentation skills and communication skills, both face-to-face and on paper. While previous experience and a sound understanding of trade unions & their objectives as well as a good knowledge of employment law is desirable, transferrable skills are also highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of our union’s values and objectives.
The Greater London Region prides itself on its diverse membership. In 2023, we celebrated the Year of the Black Worker, and this year, UNISON’s priority is the Year of the LGBT+ Worker campaign. We aim to represent the entire public sector in our multicultural city and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
