UNISON is looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and resourceful individual to join our Policy team where you’ll play a key part in formulating and developing UNISON policy, giving guidance and advice to UNISON’s National Executive Council, the Policy Development and Campaigns Committee, regions and branches. The post involves co-ordinating/working in project teams and organising campaigns across the union as well as collecting, analysing and disseminating information. You will also act as a representative of UNISON to governmental departments and other external bodies.

With experience in initiating or organising campaigns, you will be a natural communicator with excellent presentation skills. You should have a good understanding of UNISON’s policies and objectives, together with knowledge of labour market issues.
