*UNISON operates flexible working policies, however candidates should note that due to the requirements of this post the postholder needs to start by 7:30am.
Organise deliveries and set up rooms for meetings, including IT and telephone support.
Manage cleaning staff and contractors whilst on site.
To carry out minor maintenance tasks including changing lamps, minor repairs to fixtures and fittings, maintaining the efficient operation of the heating system etc.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and good practice.
You must have:
- Experience of working in a modern office environment with an understanding of related Health & Safety issues, manual handing
- Ability to prioritise duties and work as part of a team, use email and basic software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience carrying out minor repairs and building maintenance
