The Income and Membership Processing Service (IMPS) Unit within the RMS Operations department, is a service resource for the provision of income processing and member services and is made up of one team leader, one co-ordinator and 27 Team members. It’s based in the Manchester Regional Office and delivers critical membership processing functions like Membership Income collection and allocation, processing of new joiners and member payment reconciliation processes.

About this job

The IMPS DOCAS Co-ordinator role is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the DOCAS and Join Online functions of the IMPS Team and the management of staff allocated to those tasks.

 This role is a key management position within the IMPS team. To be considered for the role you must have:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of membership and subscription-type systems for large organisations including processing subscription files, direct debit processes and manual payments.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to train and support staff on membership and financial-type systems.
  • Ability to manage a critical multi-service team including setting standards, planning, monitoring evaluating progress and problem resolution.
  • Proven ability to deploy appropriate resources to ensure key operational activities are met.
